4 Slot Watch Roll Waxed Canvas Olive

A canvas roll is one of the oldest ways to carry watches, and there is a good reason it never went away. This waxed canvas watch roll is simple, tough and easy to pack, and it gets better looking the more you use it.

Four pockets for a watch and its straps

Lay the roll open and you get four tall pockets along the bottom edge. In the photo, one pocket holds a field watch on a green strap and the other three carry spare straps in olive, brown and khaki. You could just as easily use all four for watches on leather or NATO straps, or mix watches with a strap or two for a short trip. The top flap folds down over the pockets before you roll it, so nothing slips out.

Waxed canvas and a long leather tie

The body is made from olive waxed canvas with visible stitching and an aged, lived-in texture. A long brown leather strap is fixed to one end. Roll the case up, wrap the strap around it a few times and tuck the end in, and it stays shut. There is a small leather patch on the front, and the corners are finished with metal rivets.

Why a roll works on the road

A roll fits where a box will not. It slips into the side pocket of a duffel, the bottom of a backpack or between folded shirts in a suitcase. When you get there, unroll it on the bed and everything is in front of you.
